Beautiful scenery
Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. Rude staff. No show at the property. Looks horrible outside. Junky, dumpy. Loud construction next door.
Clean and nice appartment. Friendly staff. Only negative is that its far away from anything, but nice and quiet.
The experience was unexpected. Upon arrival, we discovered exactly how fully accommodated the apartments are. They supply their own plates and silverware, towels, and toiletries, as well as many spare blankets and pillows in the closets. It had a decent selection of channels on their tv, and the wifi was fast. The only problem were the bugs and the constant biting. If you looked anywhere, you could see at least one ant, and they'd congregate in large piles in particular areas, including the bathroom. I slept in one of the twin beds in the living room, and would wake up with 5+ new bites on my body each morning; I still don't know where they came from whether they were ant bites or mosquito bites. The scenery out and around the apartments are great too, from seeing the local deer and roosters walking about to the beautiful lakes. It is a great apartment if you are used to the rustic lifestyle, but if you seek something cleaner or higher class you best stick to hotels closer to the cities.
Great or eh depending what you want out of it. Tldr; far from a 4-star hotel, great place for a bunch of people to crash. Good: Huge space, kitchen (some salt and pepper wood be nice), grill (burner is about rusted out we fixed it but needs replacing soon), boat dock and trailer space can be available, feel like an independent house guest. Bad: badly needs some updates - crt TVs, put some stuff on the wall (themed, even a towel hook on the door). Plan on coming back to here.
